So it's a virtual thing. So there is no front desk. Trying to check in was horrible. Thank God for the housekeeper. The rooms we had did smell like a dog kennel. It was a gross smell. The rooms could use some furniture. There is a bed, two chairs and a mirror. That's it. No screen on the window. Oh and a record player that hangs on the wall. I will not be staying there again. But like I said the housekeeper was an amazing lady. Thank you for your help.

Semi clean room. Major dust bunnies. No dresser to unpack clothes. No coffee pot or microwave.

Nice place once you get the hang of the keypad entry Clean. Nice yard.

The hotel itself was great...clean, comfortable, nice seating areas, location, etc. However, the reason why I rated it only a 3, along with 1 star for staff, is due to the fact there is no staff on duty and this becomes a problem when there is an issue at surfaces at the hotel. Starting at 2:30 in the morning, there were guests in the hotel that were loud, arguing, up and down the halls, and quite disruptive to the guests. I looked up a number to call, called and explained the situation and they indicated the would 'report the incident to the innkeeper'. This issue died down briefly, but resurfaced again and went on well beyond 5am. I don't know whether they sent anyone or not, but had there been someone on staff, I am sure it would have been quite noticeable and dealt with immediately. While they had taken all my contact info, there was no follow-up either from the hotel with how they were handling the situation or even an apology. Staff-less hotels certainly raise a big red-flag for me now as it relates to safety and security.

I was surprised to find out that this property was primarily unstaffed. No check-In desk personnel, etc. You need to use your cell phone to get a log-in and information about your room and key code. (The cell phone service is weak by the way). The rooms were very good. Large, current, and clean. There is a 'help' kiosk and phone in the lobby. One service was helpful, the other was not (call center). There was a delay from the Hotels.com reservation to when the Hotel received it. (~30 Minutes). There was a cleaning person around, but that was the only employee I saw. Hotels are becoming more and more expensive. This presented one of the best values in the area.

Not sure what this hotel is trying to accomplish.I am not a fan of the "self-check in" with no staff to be seen, but everything went fine with the on-line check in.The room is just lacking in any thought s of guest experience.There is NO desk/table/console top to put your keys/purse etc and everything is then forced to be on the floor.Big secret: many people eat/work in their guest room and we need a table.We work on laptops or want to play games/read/set a coffee cup down and need some sort of table top.There were 2 very large, seemingly comfortable padded chairs, but were on opposite sides of the room so we had to either drag them together or shout at each other from opposing corners to have a conversation. Not everyone wants to sit on a bed hunched over a computer or balance a plate of food or cup of coffee.There was plenty of room to put the chairs together and add a table in between.There is a ridiculous old record player on a tiny shelf that added nothing.The lighting is maddeningly pitiful-very, VERY dim bulb in entry was the only ceiling light. 2 very small, very dim hanging sconces and one inept floor lamp that wouldn't light the pages we had to read - non-functional, horrible. athroom lighting was only fair. Seems like hotel is only going for some type of "ambiance" and not thinking of guests. Back deck was worn out and paint peeling with an old boat stored beside it. They tried some old chairs and string lights, but it was sad. No in-room coffee maker.CRAPPY experi

The room smelled like mildew - to the point where my clothes smelled like it even after I got home. The room had only a few hangers to store clothing - there were no drawers at all, so you had to live out of your luggage. The blanket had a suspicious brown stain, but was replaced promptly when I texted. The strange thing is that there's no staff. I didn't see one person who worked there. You check in on an ipad (which didn't have my reservation). There's no daily room cleaning/bed making. It's fine, just not for the price.

Overall the place was fine. Our room definitely had a strong musty smell but was clean.

It’s a bit creepy to have no human beings on the property to answer questions or provide warmth of service. Traveling alone it felt a bit ‘off’. There were not many guests either so while it was ok it was certainly not memorable. I would not recommend.

The check in was awkward. No staff and it took 20 minutes for the call center to send me a code for our door. After that everything was great.
