Such a cute place to stay. We had a great time, the rooms were cute and super clean, the staff was awesome, it was so nice to have the option to grab a towel and chair and walk to the beach. Parking was perfect, and again it was such a place to stay. O and the restaurant was absolutely amazing staff and food and overall service 5 stars as well

Our room was clean and cute but that’s the only positives about the experience. Front desk staff the least friendly hospitality worker I’ve ever met. No greeting, no smile, and literally not one spoken word until handing us our keys to tell us the room number and location. You have to park in the back of the building and then wheel your luggage along the breakdown lane of a road (!!)to access the checkin area. The amount of surfaces was actually laughable. It’s like they had a contest for the least square inches of counter space near the bed or sink. I’m sure they won.

This was our first stay at Higgins Beach Inn. It was conveniently located within a short walk to the beach. Staff was nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and functional. Beds were comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner at the onsite restaurant, both were very good, with a wide selection of choices and inexpensive drinks specials. My wife and I enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay here again.

This is an older hotel but well maintained, especially for a building so close to the sea. We stayed there off-season, early June, so the hotel was not crowded. It also was on a Tuesday night and dinner is only served Wednesday through the weekend. That said, the bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean and the staff was nice. Having a water dispenser in the lobby rather than water in the room was a slight annoyance but that was about it. The outdoor furniture on the front porch is comfortable and there are beach towels, umbrellas and chairs to borrow for the five minute walk down to Higgins Beach. There was a kitchen exhaust fan outside the window that was loud in the morning, but it was mentioned on the property's web site, so not a surprise. I'd say there again.

Comfy, local, historic inn just a block from the beach. We enjoyed our mid-week shoulder season stay.

The Inn has an “old timey” feel to it. Very quaint. Staff was friendly & accommodating. Our room was clean & comfortable. We liked that it was within walking distance of the beach. Beautiful area!

Did not have any restaurants in the area. Restaurant and bar closed Monday and Tues during stay which was kind of inconvenient since there is nothing around. If you have loud neighbors you can hear every conversation and people love to slame the doors to rooms. Suggestion use refillable bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body soap cut down on lots of waste and plastic.

Quick walk to the beach. Affordable on site breakfast options. Love the tea, coffee, and sparkling water options available all day in the lobby.

Room and bed are clean and nice. No furnishing except for a bench. Close to beach, beautiful area to walk. Easy access to nice restaurants. However, the inside of the shower curtain is kind of gross (large area of old sud-stains and maybe mold?). I managed to avoid touching it. Perhaps the maid didn’t see the hidden side.
