“If u have six people, and explain wether you need to book a table in the restaurant, Pre book ur meals as u get good deals. Room was a decent size, A good stay and enjoyable”

“Ok for the price. Everything was clean but showing some age. Breakfast was good.”

“This is a lovely hotel with free parking and breakfast included. The rooms are very small but we knew that. Bathroom is very small. The lobby is nice. Breakfast is good but the coffee machine did not work and they run out of food so go early. Swimming pool is lovely! Dinner was excellent. But the rooms and corridors need refurbishing, paint is peeling everywhere. But overall a nice experience and would stay again.”

“Arrived with three children had requested rooms together due to young children in advance , on arrival was told not possible after pointing out the original agreed request was told it had been changed however when we got to the room different ends of corridor so no where near each other ! Tried to play snooker out of order swimming pool - lucas’s and sauna out of order, breakfast run out of big plates and no coffee as was broken machine bar no straws and beer coke run out very disappointing stay particularly as i h g member and stayed stockport week before totally different experience .”

“I'm from Runcorn originally and have always sour our visitors staying here as I considered it to be the best in the area, now I live out the country so decided to book it to stay myself when home visiting, I've stayed here for weddings and such many years ago. This hotel is so run down in terms of the room(first floor room) So depressing I ended up cutting the stay short and using a sofa at a family members home for the last night. One of the worst aspects was the breakfast, of the four mornings I was there for breakfast I went in between 07:30 and 08:30am each day, one day no butter at all, one day only flora, and one day a block of butter to be shared, with no hygiene protocols in place, it was filthy. Such a shame on the Holiday Inn to let this hotel go to ruin like this, the staff deserve better.”

“Generally very good user experience; hotel, room, cleanliness, gym, spa, breakfast and staff.”

“Pool was nice. Beds were uncomfortable and sofa bed wasn’t made up. Had booked for 2 adults 2 kids but had to re arrange the room to be able to unfold the sofa bed.”

“Staff were welcoming food was always fresh and rooms were spotless would definitely be staying there again in the future”
