Home2 Suites by Hilton Beloit Reviews
“Nice place to stay well house was renovated.”
“I have such mixed feelings about this stay. The staff kindly allowed us to both check in early and check out late, which was greatly appreciated. But our stay had some significant problems, too. The floor in our room was wet when we arrived. And this is carpet...all of it wet. So that was pretty gross. The room was also unbearably humid the first day/night. The breakfast was yummy and we loved the pool during our stay. On check out day we had a weird issue where our keys stopped working. That's no big deal- I know it happens. But what was a big deal is that we had just gotten out of the pool and our little kids were freezing cold in the hallway. The AC in the hotel is very strong. It took more than 10 minutes to get back into the room, and the staff was not apologetic about the issue. The worst part was when we asked housekeeping to let us in because the kids were visibly shaking from the cold and she refused. I understand there are policies, but there is also human decency. I complained to the staff at the desk and was told it's hotel policy and again received no sign of caring that my little kids were freezing cold for a reason that had nothing to do with them. So...comfy hotel with good amenities, but not the place to go if you're looking for a personal touch.”
