HomeField Inn. | Hotel in Sandusky South, Ohio

“The Homefield Inn is a very cute small modern Inn. Check-in was very easy and efficient. The room was available earlier than expected, that was very nice. The floors were moist when I arrived, which I believe was from not enough drying time after mopping. There were some stains & no trash can. I mentioned those things to the management and it was addressed immediately. It was overall a decent stay, management is helpful, nice and responsive. I think it would be beneficial to train staff to be more thorough with the cleaning of rooms & that would make for a great stay as well as aide in preserving the unique charm of the property. Thank you to Omar, General Manager who addressed my concerns in a timely fashion.”

“There really were no amenities. The room was really clean and nice. It didn’t have a trash can until I saw staff and said I was missing one. The young man got me one right away. The door codes were always an issue. I had to call several times because the code wouldn’t work. Issue was always solved immediately. The bed was super comfortable. My husband and I really enjoyed our three day stay. We would stay again. Only thing really missing was a pool. And a blow dryer which I didn’t complain about because I brought my own “ JUST IN CASE!” ( blow dryer, not pool)”

“Got In around 2:00 am. The room assigned to us was in the very back parking lot. There was nowhere to put our luggage like a table or luggage rack or anything, no desk to set anything on either. The vinyl flooring was installed horribly and was buckling up in places and was sticky like. Wished we had brought slippers as our socks were pretty dirty from just a few times walking on the floor before putting our shoes on. The Pex plumbing was visible and running along the ceiling. The hot and cold for the sink and shower were backwards. It appeared to be a single wide trailer cut up to make three or four separate rooms. I will pass on this hotel in the future.”

“This property was so wonderful to stay at. I am not the age of 21 just yet so I am always looking for budget freindly, yet safe, clean, and comfortable places to stay. My group of 4 loved the area, loved the updated amenities, and we appreciated how close and conveniently located it is to Sandusky’s main attraction, Cedar Point. Communication to check in, and out was seamless and staff were very friendly and helpful. I have stayed in a fair share of nice inns, and hotels, but have never gone out of my way to review one. This is my exception. 10/10 experience. ”
