Positive: The hostel is quiet and it's in a safe area. There is a bus stop on the Panamericana, about 10 minutes from the hostel. The buses to and from Quito stop there but the drivers mostly didn't know where the stop was. The hostel is a good place for couples or families.
Negative: There is literally nothing to do when you travel alone. You are about one hour from Latacunga (the bus stops in front of the house) and the only shop available is a gas station with an ATM. While I was there, the only other guests were a small family and they weren't really interested in contact, so I found it really boring.
I liked the hostel's tour to the Cotopaxi but the tour to Laguna Quilotoa was very touristy and included several other stops and performances.
