Basic, friendly comfort in a good location
The bed was not comfortable and the road-facing rooms were noisy.
But, given the generally low standard of hotels in Backnang, this is one of the better ones

The hotel is located very near the old city center and there are a lot of great restaurants within walking distance. The hotel does provide a very nice breakfast included in the price of the room. The hotel is also near the train station so we were able to walk there and take a train into Stuttgart and Nuremberg. The room was clean and modern. Of course, the hotel does not have air conditioning but it was not very hot when we were there so that was not a problem. The owners were very nice and helpful. The only negative is that the room only had two small beside lamps so the room was very dark in the evening after the sun went down.
