A rather unkindly furnished room with a bed, TV and a board on the wall. It was enough for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't wish a rainy day on a tourist who has to spend it in his room. The shower was really unpleasant, with the ceiling disintegrating into fringes due to the constantly rising damp and black mould forming. I have stayed in much cleaner and more comfortable accommodation at comparable prices. I would not book this accommodation again and would not recommend it. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Quiet suburban location, fairly easy to reach on the N2 (or N1?) bus line from the Train Station (stop: Castel Repos, just past Carrefour and Hexagone.) wifi login a bit cumbersome, but generally functional until too many guests logon. Room is good with private bathroom, fridge, big windows (I could see the river Marne, which is a great place to walk.) No air con, and no fan, so a bit hot for those few weeks of summer per year. Very convenient to the huge American Monument for WW1, another great place to walk.
Good hotel as a starting point for day tours around the area.
