The check in process could be simplified. We had to call the number provided on the wall in order to enter our room. The rest... perfect No issues at all.

Good location

Free parking was a plus and we had a room with a view of the Roman bridge. However there is no air conditioning and with the sun shining in the room all afternoon it was hot until sundown when it started to cool down. The old town center is about a 2km walk from the hotel. There are several restaurants in the neighborhood, but also several nightclubs and sex shops that may be of concern to parents with young children

With no staff present at check-in, a v helpful Frau helped, on the phone, us sort out our key code access problems.

This was my 3rd time staying at this property and unfortunately will be my last. This used to be a nice hotel that served a delicious breakfast, but this past stay was terrible. We had 2 rooms booked, and both rooms were dirty. Black mold in the showers, cobwebs and dust bunnies in corners. Every time we passed the front desk there was always a sign someone would be right back. A couple times we waited for a few mins to hopefully speak with someone but no luck. Our first morning we were heading down for breakfast, only for another guest to tell us they no longer serve it. I was traveling with my elderly mom and 3 year old niece, so no breakfast meant i had to find an alternate place and spend more money than i would have for the hotel breakfast. That was a major inconvenience. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel. There is a Best Western down the street which will be my new go to hotel for my future Trier visits.

It’s near river except river is extremely boring the Roman remains are in centre which is about 2 km ! It’s an average hotel with a kettle and coffee ! It’s near Roman bridge !

Good location and a quick walk to anything within the city! The river makes for a good view as well.
