This is most difficult hotel experience we have ever encountered in all our years of many travels. My husband and I were in Boario Terme so that he could attend a rigorous program at the Parkinson Institute. In fact this hotel was listed by the Institute as small ,friendly and welcoming. We had booked a 6 night stay. When we checked in I asked the manager if we could stay an extra night and he agreed, Clearly a mistake was made and this extension not entered. . Accidents happen and this error could have been dealt with differently, apologetically and kindly, especially as my husband is 84 and frail.. Instead he was impatient and agitated raising his voice and insistent that we leave. We sat outside to figure out on our own how to find a room with short notice and in short supply. Finally the owner asked if he should call his hotel colleagues. Here was the solution needed at the onset of the problem,.
This is a great hotel. Good parking good wifi, the staff a great, good restaurant great amenities. The room was big with great ensuite very clean. Well maintained. I can't recommend this hotel enough.
