“The hotel is very convenient for Girona centre and if you are travelling by train or bus the stations are only a short walk away. The Europa is a small traditional hotel , the room was small but quite adequate with a large wardrobe, desk and comfy chair. The bed was comfortable and instead of the usual duvet there was a blanket and cover. Lots of restaurants nearby. We will stay again.”

“The room was small and the bed was a bit hard but the situation was great with lots of shops and eating places around. It was also a very short walk to the bus station. The first room we were offered stunk of smoke but they gave us an alternative which was fine. They weren’t doing breakfast because of covid but we preferred to sort ourselves out anyway and lovely bread was available locally. It’s not a palace but served our needs well for an economical price.”

“It was clean enough. I’m always disappointed when there isn’t a refrigerator in the room, so there was not one. The A.C. worked great, the staff was friendly and helpful. ”

“First of all the location is extremely convenient to the train station. Stayed here while doing day trip to Figueres. Staff spoke excellent English and was courteous and helpful. Room a bit small and basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was extra but reasonable. Fresh bread, croissant, coffee, juice, milk, Spanish ham & sausage, tomatoes, cereal, yogurt and special orders on request. Surrounding town was interesting. Felt safe for walking the streets. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Had a great stay here overall.”

“We chose the Europa mainly due to its proximity to the station, but were delighted by the friendliness of the staff. We visited out of the holiday season and found the hotel pleasantly quiet and relaxed. Our room was compact, but perfectly comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was simple but plentiful. Joel on the desk gave us good advice about local cafes, and in the morning we had time to walk through the town before strolling back to the station less than 5 minutes away. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. ”

“Smallish room but well thought out, if anything they would be better off with a couple of glass holders in the bathroom over the sink as this has a sloping element and if the sink was wet glasses would slide off. but that is all.”

“The front desk staff is sooo accommodating and friendly here. Parking was very easy and accessible. Great location - you are in the Medieval part of town within a few minutes' walk. Cleanliness and amenities were also great. But - just to repeat - the front desk staff made our entire experience :)”
