Charming and lovely!
Creative custom rooms with decorations that reflect different aspects of Floyd. Great breakfast, loved the baked apples and the coffee was really good. Walking distance from the town, including Floyd General Store.
Hotel retains its charm and perfect downtown location. Years into the hotel's life, there's still no sign up front directing traffic to the upper (main ) parking lot, and poor signage in that lot to get folks to the sidewalk leading to the hotel. (the front desk didn't even mention their unusual parking arrangement). I also wish they would have plastic drinking glasses in the bathroom. I broke a glass one. (I was clumsy at times, but so are other guests. The risks exceed the benefits.)
