Great staff. Clean room. Close to subway

Noisy area

Bathroom had sewer odor, I plugged drains and covered floor drain but odor still present. If I left my toothbrush or amenities pack out housekeeping would dispose, had to go to front desk several times for replacement toothbrush. If here just to sleep probably ok.

Great location and helpful staff

Room is big, service in Reception is very good, location is good and many restaurants nearby. It's suitable for one person, couples to stay but not suitable for me and friend as the bath tub is behind the bed with no door or closet. It's a bit inconvenient to take a shower or change clothes as there's no place to hang towel or clothes inside the shower place.

I loved the interior design of the hotel. It had a very trendy décor. The only thing that I did not really like was how open the bathroom was. There was not much privacy. The sink and bathtub were open to the entire room. However, the staff was very friendly, check-in/out was very easy, and it was located close to restaurants, coffee shops, and the metro.

Stayed here after watching a game at Jamsil. It’s an interesting area with some great food and busy nightlife. Hotel room was really nice and had some great views of the city.

So...hotel forestar left me with a wonderful taste in my mouth. I had such a superb and excellent stay. I flew in with my daughter from NY, to attend a Got7 concert at nearby Jamsil stadium, which was walking distance. Staff were super respectful and courteous. They went out of their way to call the currency exchange for me, and were even about to pay for my cab because they thought i ran out of won. This is all using Google translate as only one staff member spoke english. They then called me a cab, and the lady concierge even walked me to the door covering me with her umbrella. They let me use their printer, and provide free drinks. Water, sprite, juice. Im from NY. Thats unheard of. The room is clean and high tech...heated tankless toilet, big tv. The area is in the heart of the city and i frequented bars and restaurants during my 4 day stay, actually becoming oddly attached to the workers and community in such a short time. So much shopping and near public transportation. The rooms had free robes and slippers and refreshments. They went above and beyond and for such an awesome price. I really cant rave enough. They were really all so nice, welcoming, and professional. The only warning that i have is that theres an outrageous rotten chicken smell thats really strong and permeates your whole room if your window is open..because the hotel is right next to a restaurants back alley. But i mean...i dont know..for the price and service i actually grew to miss the smell. Nah..
