“The Hotel Garden in Zagreb was a wonderful experience. The beds were firm, but not unforgivingly hard as in most European hotels. The staff was the real jewell of the hotel. They were pleasant, kind and helpful in so many ways. The hotel is in a great location with ready access to the tram system, and easy to walk to most of the sites downtown. The breakfast was ample and had sufficient variety with nice pastries.”

“Room was hot but staff explained at checkin that the city controls the heat in the building and it was beyond their control. At least the windows opened. Rooms could use a refresh and a deep cleaning, but I assumed that might be the case and booked the room for one night only bc they have onsite parking and the location is walkable.”
