“I went to Engelberg for a restful weekend of walking and was very happy with my stay. From arrival to departure the ladies who operate the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, and they are well stocked with comforts like snacks and wine (very fairly priced too!) for late night goodies. I would recommend them and hope to stay again another time.”

“It was a lovely family friendly hotel.Nestled amid the mountains it had serene calm stunning viewsand traditional rooms.Rooms were very clean,good breakfast.There was ample parking space.The town was not far which had different options to eat.

“The stay was awesome for the view, scenic beauty and proximity to the mountains. The views are breathtaking. The hotel was good, you get a chalet feeling . The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great too. The staff not so much especially the person at the front desk. Seemed very rude, but I think that is part of Swiss people‘s personality. I found most of them very rude.”

“An idyllic setting with wonderful views from our bedroom window. Characterful property. Our family room was spacious with its own bathroom. Everything was very clean and well kept. The breakfast buffet was good. The owners / staff were very friendly and helpful.”
