“We wanted to spend Midsummer in Finland with our friends, the building and the environment were wonderful but the staff was far too few, the service was incompetent. The outdoor sauna was cold because there were many saunas and cold water was thrown on the heater, in this sauna you would freeze. Disappointing! Two showers in the women's washroom, one of which was broken and no cold water came out. The restaurant's Midsummer menu was beautiful but the food was cold. The breakfast did not take allergies etc. into account. The beds in room 206 were lumpy and creaky.”

“Beautiful location on a lake. Relaxing place to stay. Buffet breakfast was varied and tasty. Only thing that was unusual to me as I'm not from Finland, is that the indoor pool and Sauna is only available in the morning till around 10am, and sometimes in the evening. I believe this is just a cultural difference. Staff were exceptional.”

“Nice location on a tranquil island. If you use Bolt, you can get to city center for around 10 Euros. Or you can enjoy the small island Hanaholmen. They have spa and you can swim in the sea or in their pool. Many rooms view sea view”

“The receptionist was very welcoming. We got a room from the second floor with a sea view, the room was pretty, straight from the 70's but beautifully renovated and had all the amenities we need in a hotel room these days. We loved the pool and sauna, I was also happy to get to swim in the sea. Breakfast was fresh and well made. Overall great experience and definitely will be back.”
