Hotel le Priori places you in Lower Town, with Quebec City’s Old Quebec just a 2 minute walk away. Set in the house of architect Jean Baillairge, this Hotel sits on one of the oldest streets in North America, with St. Paul Street, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Saint Lawrence River cruises all within walking distance. It is a stay that puts the city’s historic core close at hand while keeping your day rooted in an intimate, design forward address. Inside, each room is uniquely decorated, with exposed brick walls that bring texture to the historic setting. The Art Deco furniture adds a polished, residential feel, while free WiFi and air conditioning support an easy stay. Some suites add working fireplaces and bathtubs, creating a quieter place to return to after a day on foot. The mix of room styles gives Hotel le Priori a lived in, individual character rather than a standard hotel layout. Shared comforts are part of the rhythm here too. Parking is available, and the property includes accessible features, wheelchair accessible areas, and elevator access. Guests also have access to laundry, guest services, wellness facilities, and a terrace where available, along with 24 hour front desk support and a smoke free setting. In Lower Town, the pace shifts naturally between historic streets and practical downtown access. Antique shops, cathedral views, and riverfront walks are close enough to shape an easy day, whether you are staying for work or a city break. Hotel le Priori feels tailored to travelers who want a distinctive Quebec City base with a strong sense of place.

Positive:
A really nice and very clean hotel in Old Quebec. Sights such as Place Royale or Chateau Frontenac are in walking distance. The bed was very comfortable. Although there are a few points of criticism, I can still highly recommend the hotel and would stay there again anytime.
Negative:
No "complete" bathroom. The sink and mirror were directly in the room. There is not enough storage space for toiletries. But it's okay for a few days. Toilet and shower were clean, which is definitely more important. The breakfast rooms can be a little bit cold in Winter, especially if the front door and back door are opened by guests, suppliers or laundry service. The selection at the breakfast buffet could also be better. A kettle in the room would be a big plus, especially in the cold winter season.
Summary: Very nice and recommendable hotel, but with a few points of criticism

Positive:
The room was really small. No place to put open suitcases and no drawers. Bathroom was so small that sink was located in the bedroom. Sloppy curtains dragging on the floor to try to block out street view and noise
Negative:
Breakfast buffet was minimal and the same every day. Cheese, ham, bread, yogurt. Expect much more in Old Town Quebec.
Dining rooms are small as well. First night we sat facing the wall. No bar in hotel. Had to try to get a seat in dining room if you wanted a drink. They do have suites in another building. Although we didn't see them, perhaps those are more comfortable?
Summary: Expected much more from a hotel in this historic location.
