“Very nice hotel, clean and great welcoming”

“This was a great hotel but it’s now become tired. Beds are worn and sagging, paintwork chipped and scratched and doors broken. Staff are indifferent almost to the point of rudeness, certainly not welcoming. We did not feel welcome or valued as guests. It’s also worth pointing out that the hotel is situated on the main roundabout coming into town and some way from the centre of Épernay. Consequently, it’s noisy with vehicle lights shining into the rooms and it’s a taxi drive into town for a glass of champagne. You can do better for the same money!”

“The hotel was very convenient, clean, comfortable, and nice overall. The service at the front desk was fantastic, they were so nice and helpful. They take you to your room and show you the amenities which were honestly pretty cool (at least for the junior suite). The interiors are all updated and parking is free and convenient (but a little difficult for our large van). The views were very nice from our balcony. My only compliant is that breakfast wasn't really worth the money. I'd gladly pay a little less and still eat there or I'd be happy to pay as much if the quality was better. But still, this is a very minor compliant as breakfast at least had fresh baguettes and decent coffee. We normally stay at a higher "star" hotel but for the price, this place is definitely worth it! ”
