Hotel Marionetas | Hotel in Centro, Yucatan

Hotel Marionetas places you in Centro, in the historic core of Mérida, with Plaza Grande, the Museum of the City of Mérida, and Cathedral of Saint Ildefonso close by. This Hotel keeps the setting grounded in the city center while giving you an easy base for days that move between landmarks, local streets, and long lunches. The atmosphere leans traditional, with Mexican decor that feels rooted in place rather than staged for it. Inside, guest rooms are individually styled with handmade floor tiles and wood furnishings, giving each stay its own character. Air conditioning, cable TV, a small refrigerator, and spacious bathrooms help the rooms feel comfortable for time spent between outings. Where available, the layout supports a slower pace, whether you are settling in after a walk through Centro or getting ready for an evening out. Shared spaces extend that same easy rhythm. The outdoor courtyard surrounds the pool, creating a quiet place to pause during the day. Breakfast is served inside or on the patio, and the 24-hour front desk can help arrange local tours and massages. Free Wi-Fi in common areas, a business center, and parking add practical convenience without taking away from the property’s low-key feel. For travelers who want to stay close to Mérida’s center without losing comfort, Hotel Marionetas keeps the city within reach. From here, the streets around Centro, the central plaza, and nearby cultural stops are all part of the day. It is the kind of stay that feels direct, familiar, and easy to return to at the end of the afternoon.
