Hotel felt worn / tired. But it was clean and adequate to sleep overnight, which was all I needed.”

“The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the train station. We were in Ovar for the Spring Carnival which venue is also walkable from the hotel.
We liked the quiet neighborhood and good breakfast. The facilities are a bit dated but are in decent condition, They don’t provide water kettles so if you love a cup of tea, you may need to figure out something.”

“We stayed at this hotel while visiting family. The staff was extremely professional and courteous. However, the rooms need major updating. We found leaky faucets and missing lights and the furniture hasn't been changed in years. No safes in the rooms”

“The restaurant is a bit of a scam … there is no price and you end up being charged for things you either didn’t eat or didn’t know was charged … this is very dishonest … never seen that in any other hotel in Portugal during my stay … shady !!!”

“I had a great stay at the Meia Lua. It is an older hotel but it was clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was great. Although I didn't use it the pool was nice and big and clean. I would definitely stay at the Meia Lua again if I was in the area.”

“Very quiet hotel....good breakfast. Secure indoor parking. Friendly staff. Only gripe was the free Wifi access which went off several times during our 48 hour stay, BUT, Portugal was experiencing pretty severe storms at the time so I don't think it was the Hotels fault.
Overall, very comfortable & very good value.”
