“We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Murten with our family.
We really appreciated the convenient location, close to the lake and the village. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is large and comfortable, although it could use some update in the furniture. Also tv was not working during our stay.
The restaurant is good and has a large choice, but unfortunately it was closed both Sunday and Monday.
All in all, we recommend this property and we thank the staff for welcoming us!”

“An excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was very good, my only issue was that there was no facilities to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room. I had to get a coffee from the restaurant when I would have expected to have had a kettle and tea and coffee and of course you have to pay additional for that....”

“Wonderful location just steps from the old gate to the city! Breakfast was delicious and there was a nice playground next to the hotel.”

“A little walk from the train station as it is on the far side of the old town. But other than that, little to complain of. Hotel was nice, room laid out well--liked the additional dining area that was separate from the bed/sleeping area. Staff very nice, and breakfast is good. Once situated, it was convenient to walk just a couple of blocks to enter the old town. Walking the ramparts was great, sunset was great, playing chess in the park was great. Good time in Murten/Morat all around. ”
