Hotel & Restaurant Ludwigs | Hotel in Fussen Old Town, Bavaria

“Great location. Parking. Great restaurant. Quiet. I’d be back for sure.”

“The hotel itself is in good shape and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was (overall) indifferent. They were not rude, but they were not friendly either. The room we had was over the restaurant's kitchen, and our room smelled of cooking food all night long. The "buffet" breakfast was similar to the "free" breakfasts he had at other hotels. The food wasn't bad; it just wasn't good, and we wished we had spent the money on a cafe elsewhere.”

“Love the staff! Rooms were clean and spacious”

“Everything was good except for the fourth floor 😂. But at least we got AC. That was a gift!”

“Hotel was very cool. Right on the main walkway for Fussen, restartaunt downstairs, just a great place and atmosphere. Room was a little small for al 4 of us, but it worked just fine and was set up for us when we arrived. Parking area in the rear was a little tight...but it was also convenient and secure.”

“Dated and like most European hotels in older buildings it has no AC, so there was a portable unit in the room which added no relief.”

“This place is very nice looking. Just very tiny rooms and minimal amenities unless you want to pay for breakfast or dinner. On the other hand, the location is fantastic. Close to the bus station for travel to other cities and close to the Nesuchwanstein castle bus stop. Shopping, food, and cute walkable streets are right outside your door.”

“Fast check in, helpful staff.”

“The room was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed that it was in the middle of town but there was no refrigerator in the room which sucks when you want to keep things cold. This does seem like a consistent pattern in European hotels. I guess I am a spoiled American on that end but that is the only down side to the hotel. Perfect location and wonderful staff members”

“Great stay in walking distance to everything.”
