We had booked two nights and were initially given Room 1, a cramped, tucked-away room with poor natural light. It stank of mold. We were too tired to say anything the first night, but went to reception in the morning and requested a new room. The receptionist, whom we hadn't spoken to before, didn't even ask for our names or which room we were in. She immediately knew what it was about. Our new room was up to standard. The hotel shouldn't be renting out Room 1 at all, definitely not at full price, and they are clearly aware of this. Hence the low rating.
Clean, easy to find, friendly staff and affordable, but everything else us very basic.
