“You have to make sure to book a room in the main castle or otherwise the rooms will be in annex, need to walk outside for breakfast and reception. And the annex rooms are nothing special, actually a little lower quality than a business hotel. Breakfast is excellent”

“We reserved thinking it within the castle but learned at place that it is a different building in the premises.”

“The staff are helpful. Almost everyone spoke English (not that I expected, but it was nice not to use a translation app). They asked me a few questions about why we were there and told us the easiest and cheapest way to get there. When our train departed late, they allowed a late checkout for a fee. They even helped when my taxi fell through and got us to the train station with plenty of time to spare. ”

“We stayed in the annex which was very lovely and quiet. It was nice that there was a coffee machine in the lobby, however, it ran out of water (for tea) Sunday evening, so there was no coffee available Monday morning until 8. Perhaps room coffee maker would be better? Otherwise, the property was beautiful! Right above the river. Very easy to take the tram into Dresden to avoid parking. I definitely recommend a stay here!”
