Guest Reviews
Hotel Spoettel Reviews
Summary: My room was large and airy, with a high ceiling, and the walls were painted white, fostering a wonderful spacious feeling. The full breakfast included both warm and cold options and a marvelous variety. Staff both for the breakfast and for the hotel in general were extraordinarily helpful, friendly, and supportive. The dining area is clean and beautifully lit.

Summary: The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. Television channels were lacking although coming to Bad Nauheim is more about getting around and not sitting around.
If you come after 6pm, there is no one at the reception to greet you. An email will come in German and no English translation explaining how to get your key.
Older place but that is part of the charm with it's Elvis room and Elvis shrine in the lobby. We didn't have the 12 Euro breakfast so no rating there.
It is a short walk to all thing in the downtown shopping and sites to see area.

Summary: More like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, with a friendly and enthusiastic hostess. The hotel is a historic old house full of antiques and delightful decorations. Delicious breakfast buffet with friendly service.

Summary: The hotel interior is traditional and quite different from typical hotels, in a very positive way! When you step in it feels almost like a trip back in time. The staff was really friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The hotel is within a walking distance to the center and supermarkets. Parking is only by the street but it was no problem to find a free spot and it didn't cost anything. I hope I will have a chance to visit Hotel Spöttel again.

Summary: ALL the staffs are friendly. 7 minutes walking distance to city center with good restaurants and shopping. Classical and good size suite with renovated bathroom. Very good breakfast and atmosphere. However, only street parking and the beds squeak (MUST replace).
