We only needed a night in Split to catch a cruise the next day. Hotel Sustipan was ideal for that being a 10 minute easy walk with a trolley bag to the port area. Thr rooms are small but adequate, the bathroom modern and breakfast whilst not extensive was sufficient with barrista made coffee a bonus. The hotel is situated on the water's edge and close to a park. The area is much quieter that the Old Town and Riva but this was a plus for us.
Negative:
All the rooms are on one level but this is a first floor so there are some stairs to climb and there is no lift so it might noy suit ppl with mobility issues

It is very clean and close to beaches and city center. Stuff is very nice and helpful.
Negative:
It has a beach but you need to pay for sun beds. We didn't like the breakfast.
