Vejlefjord Sanatorium opened on March 1, 1900 and was Denmark's first tuberculosis sanatorium. The scenic location, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, was carefully chosen by founder Dr. Christian Saugman, because tuberculosis patients should have plenty of fresh air, rest and exercise. Hotel Vejlefjord still holds to the basic principles of good food, fresh air, peace and rest to this day. We offer an atmosphere that reflects the hotel's history and creates an atmosphere of relaxation.
