“Excellent location, just over the road from the railway station (which is also served by the Glacier Express). Only a 10 minute walk from the castle too and extremely close to the main shopping area. Staff were very helpful. The room itself was spacious, but unfortunately the en-suite in particular was very dated and the towels were threadbare. There was a typical continental breakfast on offer in the hotel and tea/coffee making facilities in the room.”

“We chose Hotel Victoria for the price and location. Switzerland is expensive to travel in. Meals were extremely expensive! This place had an included breakfast. The breakfast was terrific! Meat and cheese and breads and croissants and hard boiled eggs and mixed fruit and cereal and maybe oatmeal and yogurt. So something for everyone. The pillows weren't great. But that isn't uncommon. The beds were quite comfortable. The staff was very helpful. And the town was just lovely. We went for a walk through it all and a ways up the mountain and it was absolutely stunning! Lots to see and a lovely glimpse of Switzerland. Be prepared for high food prices. Otherwise we would stay here again. We have been backpacking through Italy and France and wanted a place near the train to stow our packs before discovering this town. And this didn't disappoint!”
