Hotel Walserberg Reviews
“The entire hotel staff are very gracious, professional, and accommodating...made our stay comfortable and relaxing. The hotel offers free parking on the premises. Check-in went smoothly and we were offered a nice beverage upon arrival. The room is spacious and very clean with many of the necessary amenities. The view from the room is spectacular and the area around the hotel very quiet. The breakfasts offered many different options, and the dinners were truly exquisite, prepared nightly by the owner's son, a junior chef...all at an affordable price. The hotel offers a beautiful wellness center and stunning views of the mountains while relaxing after a trip to the sauna or steam room. Be prepared though as it's their custom to elect not to wear towels or bathrobes in that part of the wellness area. Check-out went smoothly as well, and they even gave us a parting gift...very nice gesture. As for any downside, there is no coffee preparation area and no personal refrigerator in the room. Lastly, the Warth area is really for skiers and although we don't ski, we booked the hotel anyways. We had a great time relaxing, walking/hiking trails, snow sledding, and taking in all the beauty that is Austria. Note: ski lessons are available, but we decided to stay grounded...lol. Thank you again to the entire staff and for making our trip memorable! Signed, your 2 English-speaking friends from the United States!”
“Delightful, immaculate hotel! Food is delicious with an interesting and varied menu. Great selection of excellent quality wines. Staff are amazing - very friendly, accommodating and efficient. Our room was spacious with spectacular views. Atmosphere is relaxed. Can’t wait to return.”
“The welcome to the hotel was lovely. I was on my own and made to feel very welcome, with the other guests I had a fun time. The dinners were great quality and the wine choice as offered by Simon were of the highest standard. The Hotel was very clean and had everything anyone would have wanted. Being 100 yard from the gondola it was very easy and quick to get to the slopes. The actual skiing at Warth was superb, with a good variety of difficult and easy runs. I would confirm that I would recommend the Hotel Walserberg to everyone.”
