Positive:
We were warmly welcomed by the family that runs this B&B and truly appreciated their generosity. It is located a few minutes drive from the town but we much preferred being out in the countryside. Turning left outside their gate you can take a lovely walk/hike up to the ruins of an old convent (or enjoy sitting in their beautiful garden.) The breakfast was excellent and varied with both sweet and savory offerings. One morning we were treated to an omelette and tomato bruschetta, while another there was a plate of cold cuts. Each day included fruit juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, homemade preserves and delicious home baked pastries.
Negative:
We were disappointed that so little was open in the town of Morano Calabro at the time we were visiting (probably better in summer), but this has nothing to do with the B&B.
Summary: A lovely authentic experience!
