ibis Senlis | Hotel in Senlis

“Basic at best. Location is on the outskirts of town in a petrol station. Bit of a walk (15min) into the town. Breakfast was really poor. There was no lighting as overhead lights had failed. (I did see people working on them the previous night, but obviously did not fix them). We had cycled from London to Paris. No bike storage, but staff said we could keep them stored in a conference room downstairs. ”

“All the members of staff I met were helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The restaurant was not open on Sunday evening although the online information suggested it was. As I had driven for some hours and crossed the channel from UK that day, it was not a good way to begin my stay. I was tired and hungry. Luckily one member of staff was kind enough to make me something to eat. The rooms were tired and in need of some tlc. The approach to the hotel was awful, the road pitted and uneven. Shame, I usually find the standard in Ibis hotels pretty good for an overnight stay when travelling. Needless to say it is unlikely I will use the one in Senlis again. ”

“Right next to the highway to Paris..”

“Rooms are no way near as nice as photos suggest. They are basic and to an ok standard for the money. Actually quite dated for Ibis. Biggest let down was AC did not work well at all as the control panel was locked even though it was the middle of August! Probably would not stay again.”

“It was nice and quiet. The rooms were clean. It was close to town and had free parking. But the rooms don't have airco and there is no fridge.”

“I stay here often. Good for staying north of Paris and Charles de Gaulle if you have a car”
