“Good location and very nice pool and lounge area. Very unfortunate that the air conditioning didnt work as this meant our room had 28 degrees during the night.”

“It is well located on the edge of Lyon if you need a place to stay on the road. It seems to be geared towards families, though there appeared to be different types of travellers there and it is close to a major exhibition centre. Things that were wrong or annoyed me were: One of the gates (marked exit) wasn't working. This led to confusion as drivers leaving the car park had to use the Enter gate which angered Drivers trying to get in as they didn't understand ad there was no sign. All the hotel information shows a swimming pool. But there is no mention of an additional 5 euros per person charge until you check in. This strikes me as mean. The fabric of the hotel looks tired and in need of refurbing. The child themed decor throughout is irritating. The eggs served at breakfast were cold and unappealing (There is a microwave, perhaps you are meant to heat them yourself. The bread and pastries were good. Generally, it all felt a little underwhelming and a far cry from the welcoming hostel for weary travellers.”

“Beautiful hotel with theme arcade games. Very nice. Enough free parking spaces. Clean room and enough space. The breakfast was in Novotel, with more choice than normal in Ibis Styles, but the service was a disaster. Many staff members, but like running chickens. They put egg in the microwave (it’s not fresh), you need to wait almost 10 min before it’s ready, and then it’s still cold. Also 2x need to wait 5mins for croissants, and also for fruit. Normally I spend about 45min max at the breakfast, but now it was 1u20(!) because of the very slow service. With more than 700kms to drive that day it wasn’t a nice surprise. The staff where very friendly, that was more than ok. ”

“Really cool place to stay. Great design (my kids are loving it). Stuff is fantastic, nice and helpful. Breakfast excellent. The only thing I do NOT like ist that beer costs 8 Euros! It is way to much for 0,5 Heineken.”

“Nice experience in this Ibis hotel. You need a car to reach Lyon, though. There isn't much in the area around, but it's very quiet. It was a great choice for the Fête des Lumière. Cheaper than all the hotels in downtown, clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was also good with some home-made jam and nutella. ”
