Idle Awhile Cliffs | Villa in West End, Westmoreland

“Staying at Idle awhile cliff is a great stay, however be aware of the very idle vibe. Things are extremely relaxed. Most people go out for dinner in the evenings, so staff is normally gone by 7pm on the dot. This property has so much potential but I am afraid it’s a tad bit neglected because it is the smaller of the 3 properties. The concept of the room is amazing. At night it’s extremely dark in this area and away from most of what’s happening on the west end. Upon arriving we notice a few things out of place, cars parked on the property every which way instead of on designated area, laundry sitting out and we were not briefed on the fact that dinner last seating is 6pm, we walked down to the bar area and everything was closed no one in sight on property. We spoke with property management and things improved and I hope they continue to hold standards higher to provide an exceptional level of hospitality experience, because this property complete has the makings for it! ”

“We adored this “rustic” property with its early morning birdsong, simple clean (very clean!) rooms and lovely pool overlooking the ocean. Delicious breakfast poolside or on our terrace. Courteous and kind staff. Highly recommend!”

“I count find that hotel nowhere it doesn't even pop up on the gps I arrived HOURS late and the front entrance don't even look like a hotel they tried to keep telling me that the hotel is "right here" instead of being understanding , I wasn't trying to get charged late fee. The front entrance look like a garage nth like the picture. Their communication could be better. And checkout is not wat it says on the app they need to fix that it's wayyyyyy earlier and dogs be barking like crazy and they don't have parking really u just park in from of the tree like create ur own parking ”

“Fabulous and beautiful. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Villas were amazing. Lovely quiet area, but sometimes some noise nearby (music) and dogs barking in the night. Great pool and bar/restaurant area. But note that it shuts at 7pm and there's not a lot else nearby. Food and drinks were very good. ”
