Positive: Very modern apartment designed by the owner who himself is an architect. The apartment is very spacious and a similar suite in a hotel in Lake Como area will be more than $3000 per night. All the appliances are modern. The location was away from all the tourist mad house. Its a quiet location where you are amongst the locals. Hence all the amenities, restaurants and grocery stores cater to the locals and hence are very reasonable. The views of the lake are beautiful. The village itself has a medieval feel

Negative: Its not a criticism, as we were prepared, but you need your own car. Also rent the smallest car possible as all the parking spots on Lake Como are extremely tight.

Summary: If I ever get a chance to go back to Lake Como, I will stay in the same apartment
