A beautiful and well run hotel that is very accessible to Union station, CN tower and Ripley's Aquarium. Staff was super helpful and friendly. We will return.

Excellent experience …,lovely hotel

Wish the breakfast was free, considering it’s quite an expensive stay. Also wish there was a mini fridge in the room, that doesn’t have stuff already in it. Loved the hotel, super clean, great helpful staff. Valet parking, overall a great experience

Overall positive experience

When we got to the hotel we were exhausted from an active day. We had to wait a very long time to check in because there were multiple people checking in and only one person working the desk. After a good ten minutes another clerk came to assist and we finally got checked in. I thought I had booked a lake view room and was rudely told I had not. The clerk made no offer to move us to a lake view even at an upcharge. And checkin took so long—we were just so tired and the clerk clearly had no empathy. Not what I expected from a brand like Intercontinental. When we finally got up to our room, the room was hot and stuffy. We tried to turn up the air conditioner to cool it down and noticed that no fan kicked on. I called the front desk and asked if we were doing something wrong and he told me that he would send an associate up. After about 10 minutes, maintenance came up and determined the fan was not working on the unit. He offered to bring a floor fan up. We asked him to please try to fix the unit, which he did in about five minutes. Again, I have stayed at other Intercontinentals, as well as other luxury hotels, and the fact that we were not immediately offered a better solution than a workaround via a floor fan is unacceptable. Very disappointed and will not be staying at this hotel ever again .

The rooms were very clean! The staff was extremely friendly, which added to the overall experience and atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was very tasty with a lot of excellent choices. Thanks for a wonderful stay looking forward to another visit!

The room was nicely renovated, the hotel was super clean and the location is amazing

From check in to check out this hotel had everything we could’ve wanted. Close to the CN Tower, Arena, Union station, Baseball stadium and plenty of restaurants. The rooms were beautiful, beds were comfortable. My only complaint would be the adult pool hours. Everyday for one hour in the am and one hour at night, they make the pool “adults only” which I actually thought was a great idea. My only complaint was 8-9 pm which seemed a little inconvenient for parents. I would think the last hour 9-10 would be a better fit for families. Overall I don’t think I would stay anywhere else. The convenience of this hotel is outstanding. We needed a cab they got one, we needed anything it was taken care of. They even decorated our room for our arrival to help celebrate a birthday we were celebrating. We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet it was probably one of the best I’ve had. Parking was easy they offer valet but if your gonna park and not need your car then park it yourself and save half the money. Plenty of parking right there at the hotels lot. Don’t stay anywhere else this place is it !

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is very close to several theaters and restaurants. We booked a room with club access which was amazing. The only thing I would suggest is that somewhere in your booking confirmation it should let you know that club access check in is on the 8th floor. We weren’t aware of this so we waited in the lobby to be checked in. Luckily it wasn’t a long wait, but I was surprised that nothing told us that ahead of time which would have been helpful. Overall, the drinks and hors d’oeuvres available in the club lounge were great and they were labeled clearly for allergies which we appreciated because my husband has celiac and can’t eat gluten. Unfortunately there weren’t a lot of gluten free options in the evening. However, the breakfast buffet was amazing and there were a lot labeled gluten free options available there. Thanks for a great stay!
