Positive: Great location, only a few minute walk to Jonker Street. Hotel was quiet, very comfortable and clean. Lovely shower. The staff were lovely, and very helpful. We unfortunately came back one night at around 9pm to our room smelling strongly of cigarettes (which hadn't happened before). We went to reception, explained the situation to Louise who was working at the desk. She immediately came to investigate, finding the people in the room next to ours were smoking. This was a single event, not the fault of the hotel (they say clearly no smoking allowed) and was solved so quickly without any issues thanks to Louise's help. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect location right next to night markets and stadthuys. 7eleven conveniently located downstairs. They have water refill available. Rooms were really clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Power sockets next to bed, kettle in room and space for luggage.
Negative:
Our mini fridge in the room wasn't working. Would be great to be able to connect our phone to the tv to watch youtube/netflix easily. It was also a bit noisy but this is to be expected in an old building.

Great location Justin in a couple of minutes walk from Chinatown and the Jonker Trail. Room was clean and comfortable. Super friendly and helpful staff.
