Juniper Preserve Reviews

Summary: Some pros, some cons! Bad news first. I selected this hotel because it seems secluded and quiet because it was on a preserve and farther out from town. On the first night, after traveling for 15 hours, I arrived at the hotel only to find that there was a wedding on property. The loud music and bass went on into the later hours of the evening. On the 4th night of my stay, there was a corporate function right outside my balcony, so I couldn’t open the doors to my room or watch the sunset which is why I paid for a Mountain View. The hotel did not inform me of these events. Had I known, I would’ve chosen another hotel as I really just wanted peace and quiet. Additionally, the employees were friendly and available, however, I just had some challenges that they were not able to help me with. The air conditioner was not working properly and no one knew how to fix the issue. The restaurant on property closes at 5 PM so unless I wanted the finer dining option at a much higher price point, I had to drive a half hour into town to get food each evening. The good news is that the property is very pretty, the employees were nice and I saw some wildlife on property including a porcupine and lots of deer. The view from my room was very pretty.
