Kampen Hotel | Hotel in Toyen

“Good variety of breakfast items to suit all needs. Coffee refill during the day at no extra cost a bonus. The staff were friendly and happy to give help when handling any queries. Good location. Room excellent, spacious and clean. Only issue would have is nowhere to put clothes. There was a small hand rail on the wall but otherwise mo storage. Otherwise excel t overall stay. Would recommend here.”

“Good stay, a weird layout but good location”

“Clean but a little weirdly laid out and is clearly an apartment complex turned into a hotel kinda thing.”

“Check in was good at the bar/desk and he was helpful with the train app. Sketchy dude at the bar after I came back from dropping off the car. The light switch for the kitchen was broken right off the wall and there were signs all over to not use the apartment amenities.”

“Nothing fancy was a reasonable priced hotel I could find that evening compared to other hotels being offered at a higher price. Nothing fancy and friendly staff.”

“Basic, clean room with comfortable beds. Be careful about opening floor to sealing window which exposed an unprotected drop to the pavement below of around 6 feet. Unsafe in my opinion”

“The room was okay not so clean and the mattress kept sliding from the bed the pillow blended in the mattress unexpectedly flat . The bathroom wasn’t clean esp the toilet seat and toilet paper had spots on it , expected a better arrangement.”

“Friendly staff great service. Nice balcony, relaxed views, tidy room. Tøyen T-bane very close by easy access to all of Oslo”

“The bed was comfortable, but unfortunately, that was the highlight of the stay. The hotel clearly skimps on maintenance. In my room, the kitchenette lacked a fridge because the last one broke, the window handle was broken so the window wouldn't close properly, and the AC controller was non-functional, leaving the room quite warm. Basic upkeep and amenities need serious improvement.”

“Nice and nostalgic place in a quiet area”
