“This property is like a Homestay run by a very nice gentleman. If you don’t want to pay the exorbitant Kyoto hotel prices, this is a great option. It is a 13 minute train ride to Kyoto and a 12 minute car ride to the station from his house. You get 1 ride to and from the station per day, and there is also a bus if needed. The house is meticulously clean, it is quiet, the bed in the Mountain View room is extremely comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay.”
