Very clean and friendly staff. Comfortable stay in a quiet setting with a delicious breakfast. In a very convenient location to walk around town including very close proximity to shops and restaurants. Also close to the river; a beautiful place for a walk.

Excellent town Centre position ideally situated for exploring all that Knaresborough has to offer. Room was very comfortable, clean and looked over the garden patio. Breakfast was excellent, well cooked using first class ingredients Would highly recommend

The room was cosy, warm, clean and comfortable. Robert and Karen were excellent hosts.

Robert greeted us at the door and was friendly. The room we were shown to was perfect, bed was comfortable and amenities clean and tidy. The location of Kirkgate House was great, in the middle of the town with bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Would recommend and if we visit Knaresborough again, definitely would stay.

Ideally placed in the centre of Knaresborough, we were welcomed warmly. The room was lovely with a generous bathroom attached. Plenty of teabags, coffee and hot chocolate sachets and fresh milk was kept in a small fridge. The chocolate was a nice touch alongside the complementary biscuits. It was very quiet and the breakfast was delicious. We will certainly visit again.

Fresh milk and mineral water in a communal fridge on the landing was a nice touch. Room was small but clean and comfortable with little extra bits like snack size dairy milk bars! Breakfast was freshly and perfectly cooked with good choice. The location is excellent just a few steps from the town square. Knaresborough is a lovely picturesque and historic little town and compact - but hilly! Visit the castle grounds which are a public park for views of the river and viaduct. Then go down to the riverside for views up to the castle and river walks. Harrogate is a few minutes away by train and has lovely parks and the pump room museum as well as excellent shopping. And Betty's of course...

Ideal close to the train Station and Market Square, Host's were very friendly and the full English breakfast was excellent.

Had a lovely one night stay. Richard and Karen were very good hosts. Room was nice, with a very comfortable bed. Good facilities, en-suite. Nice touch was the fresh milk in the fridge, just outside the room for tea and coffee, along with a couple of bottles of water. Also had a couple of bars of chocolate on the hospitality tray! Although property is in centre of town it is on a small side road and is very quiet. Parking is nearby, which Richard directs you to and is very reasonably priced. Breakfast was delicious, which you choose the night before (for cooked), so it is prepared fresh. Also choice of cereals, juice, fresh fruit, plus cooked and toast. The breakfast room is overlooking a small courtyard garden with bird feeders. Lovely to see the birds coming down whilst having breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Thank you.
