“The hotel is situated in an idyllic quiet surrounding of Mariastein. The hotel room was spacious and clean and quiet. No noise from outside.
The service of the staff is amazing. They go above and beyond.
Breakfast is amazing with fresh products (bread, cheese, cold cuts, cereal, milk, eggs).”

“Beautiful building in a very tranquil place surrounded by gardens. Clean room and welcoming reception staff.
The restaurant is separate, and I think it would have been useful to have a kettle and a little fridge in the room to make refreshments. ”

“Spacious rooms, very friendly staff, good breakfast - nothing to complain.
Reception closes early but ways are offered to check in later.
Drawback is that the restaurant of the hotel as well as the ones in the village close early. Food after 21:00 just available in the next village, about 10 km away.”

“This is a former Monastery that is but a minute's walk from the Mariastein Abbey and Basilica. It is set in such a serene location that I could have spent more days there if I could. Staff is absolutely awesome and very friendly. The food at their restaurant is also very good.”

“We were traveling to Basel but did not want to stay in the city. The couple who manage this hotel were extremely friendly and accommodating. The service was wonderful. Dinner outside in the yard was excellent with the birds singing, lots of surrounding trees. ”
