Can’t recommend La Maison Grivolas enough! Mat was beyond helpful with recommendations for dining and local trips. We really enjoyed the breakfast and just relaxing by the petite pool in late afternoon/night. Room was spacious, nice kitchenette, and great bed. Hope to stay here again on a future trip!

This was a great place to stay the host was exceptional. The breakfast they provided was wonderful. It even has an outside space that was very nice. It is very walkable rooms are very nice and the kitchen was nice to have for lunch. Very walkable definitely try Mamma Corsica for dinner.

La Maison Grivolas is a hidden gem. So.much so that we had a little difficulty finding it. When we were in the right area according to Google, we were approached by man who asked, in English, if he could help. Mathieu turned out to be the proprietor of the hotel! The rooms are unique but well appointed including cooking facilities but we chose to take Mathieu's restaurant recommendations. He is both friendly and knowledgeable about Avignon, its restaurants, museums and best places to visit. Overall, a great boutique hotel and a great host.

What an absolute gem in Avignon. Beautiful, quaint B&B tucked inside the walls of Avignon. The hotel is prettier than pictured and the owners Mathieu and Caroline are incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. Their breakfast is fresh, homemade French continental. Location is perfect for those who want to sightsee and perfect for those who want to just chill in beautiful quiet surroundings. I hope to return.

This was by far one of our favorite stays ever. Our hosts were helpful and gracious and the space was charming, comfortable, clean and convenient! Would recommend strongly!

Mathieu was a great host. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (optional) on the patio was excellent. The location was very convenient for visiting the old-town area of Avignon.

Beautiful guest house in the heart of the walled city. Easy access to all major attractions. Parking available at a near by secured parking garage less than 5 minute walk away. Upon arrival and to unload, you can double park in front of the school, which was nice not to have to drag luggage through the streets. There is a nightly charge for parking you can pay at the end of your stay. Well serviced unit with a nespresso machine, dishwasher and all the basic kitchen supplies you will need during your stay. We took breakfast option nearly very morning as it was very delicious. Served either in your room or on the patio. Communication between owners was very easy thru WhatsApp for anything you needed during your stay. Beds very extremely comfortable in our unit. We did laundry just down the street , which was efficient. Soap included in the wash cycle. We were too early in the season to enjoy the pool but it looked like a great spot to cool down in the warmer months. We often ran our daily plans by Mathieu to see if he had any further recommendations or insider knowledge to share of the area. I would definitely stay here again and recommend.

This is a wonderful property convenient to everything. Mathieu is the best host we have ever had, making reservations and recommendations, delivering a fantastic breakfast daily, arranging for laundry service and assisting with the car park. Communications were excellent and timely utilizing What App. The room was a sizable suite and had everything we needed with kitchen facilities if desired. We would definitely stay again.
