It was the perfect place to slow down and enjoy nature at its best. The breakfasts, with homemade pastries and fresh eggs, were a real treat, and the service throughout was gracious and generous. Positive: The staff at La Traversina were like a family to us. They were ever so kind and accommodating, which made our already great stay - perfect! It was like staying at Grandmas house.
The property itself was beautiful, especially the gardens and our room. It is clear that a lot of time and thought is put into making it charming, and everywhere you look is picturesque. Preserving the local nature is clearly important. We saw many animals, wild and domesticated.
Finally, the food. Breakfast and dinner were both amazing and plentiful. Eating with the other guests was really nice, and I only wish that we had done it more. We hope to return to La Traversina someday soon.

We loved everything. The place is charming, immersed in vegetation, Very calm. But above all it's Rosanna's hospitality!! She and of course her son and anyone else that works there. My husband has celiac,he eat only gluten free, and they made sure that at every meal he got the best there is, it's not taken for granted! The concept of eating together around one table is amazing, it makes you chat and meet new people, we made new friends. We highly recommend this place, and we already miss it and the special evenings we had there.

We really felt at home at La Traversina. Super friendly staff. You should expect a warm welome as if you are visiting family in a Villa in the hilltop. The house has been in the owner's family for 300 years. An excellent place to stay if you are exploring Gavi or shopping nearby.

Staying there was very heartwarming experience. Rosanna is very nice and warm host, like coming to visit your grandma. The house is old, with beautiful garden, swimming pool is great bonus. Breakfast is delicious.
