“My husband & I had an absolutely wonderful time at Le Clos des Anges ! Gael & Sofie were so welcoming and went over & above, especially when we had a minor health issue to ensure we found appropriate medical care. They speak English quite well & we felt grateful as we were in their county speaking limited French. The amenities were pristine, and Gael delivered a delicious French breakfast daily which we enjoyed in the gorgeous courtyard. Gael provided a website when checking in of local restaurants and activities. The restaurants were amazing and we went to Terrasses de Pommiers twice - it was excellent!!! Our room was very very spacious, and the bathroom as well with double sinks & extensive counter space. Very comfy king bed ! We had dinner delivered the last night via Gael’s resturant connections and it was hot & tasty. The location in the heart of the vineyards was stunning, yet easily accessible to many nearby villages and restaurants. This is an extraordinary stay in Bagnols, and we plan to return again with family & friends as it is also perfect for groups ! ”

“We booked the B and B for two nights but left after one night because the mattress was extremely old and uncomfortable. The host couple was very nice to us and tried to accommodate us in every way. The setting was beautiful and otherwise the accommodations were good”

“Le Clos de Anges is a lovely Guest House is finished to a very high standard. The decor was beautiful and a lot of thought has gone into making this a very special place indeed. A rare find . The owner Gale spent a lot of time making sure our stay was a special one even arranging food for us when we arrived later the expected. It is very close to Lyon and the Autoroute so ideally situated. We will definitely return. ”

“This property is located in the middle of nice vineyards in a gorgeous area of Beaujolais. Go check out the beautiful village of Oingt which is only 5 kms away. The owner is very pleasant ans went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. the rooms are neatly decorated with Maroccan furniture and accents. The indoor warm swimming pool and the Hammam are a very nic touch. Thank you. We will come again to this nice property.”

“The property is very unique with an appealing swimming pool and sauna on the lower level. Unfortunately we were unable to use it as we were there just one night. Tall people be aware of the low entrance to the bathroom in the Iris room. After 3 smacks to my forehead I finally became conscious of it. Also, the chairs in that room are themed to match the overall decor, but are too low to be practical for those who are older or who have knee/hip problems. The bed was great.”
