Positive: Brilliant location, near the Loire and in the centre of La Charité sur Loire, a town where art, culture and literature are everywhere. Poetry and citations, wise or/and full of humour are on walls, on pavements, in shop windows, in restaurants or on lampposts. Food and wine, of course, are superb. The flat we stayed in at Le Passage was big and comfortable, with a fabulous view on the church tower close by.
Negative: Due to a problem with another customer, we were not allocated the flat we originally booked. SMS messages were delayed and we could not access the code for the lock box. A phone call solved the problem. There was no hairdryer in our flat.
Summary: Brilliant gîte, excellent location
