When I arrived late the gracious lady of the house offered a home cooked dinner which I gladly accepted. It was simple and delicious. I was hungry and tired and it was a great relief not to have to go out in search of a restaurant. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. She also assisted me with an adaptor- forgotten at home- so I could charge my devices. Very sympathetic all round and I highly recommend this characterful, period building. Just a short 30 minute drive into Paris and you can just about see the Eiffel Tower from the car park!
Wonderful stay delightful host. Wish we could have stayed longer.
The host was wonderful, very nice and attentive. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. We had a nice breakfast every morning. The property is very charming. It is also near town and a train station, making it easy to come and go from Paris. We have stayed directly in Paris before and found that we preferred this experience of staying outside of the city. Les Tourelles de Thun is quiet and peaceful but with close access to trains to Paris. The property was a highlight of our trip and we would happily stay again!
