“I was charged for the booking by Expedia but the hotel said the room was not paid for, so we assumed it was payment on arrival and paid the hotel. When we returned home, we found that Expedia had also charged us for the same stay. Furthermore the hotel did not provide us with an official receipt, that we can remember. As a result, we are having difficulty getting our duplicate payment refunded from Expedia. We are attempting to contact the hotel to obtain a copy of their receipt to prove to Expedia that we have paid the hotel, directly, in the hope to get our duplicate payment refunded.”

“While the place was clean and conveniently located to where I had to be, it lacked: 1. An elevator 2. I was asked for payment both at check in and check out, even though I had prepaid via Expedia before arriving at this hotel. 3. I was given a room in the attic, and with my height of 1.77m, it was quite challenging to take showers right under the sloped ceiling. 4. Hotel didn’t have parking so it was a chore to find an available spot where to load and unload the luggage. ”
