Lisbon Airport Hostel | Bed & Breakfast in Olivais

The property is self-check-in but also required a safety deposit of 60€ which we only found out via third-party email the night before so the check-in process wasn't that smooth. We needed to call someone to get the code who explained the deposit needed to be paid before the code could be given (which was a little inconvenient, as we were outside the property). The property is very modern and tastefully furnished. Comes with a washing machine which was very handy as it was our last stop before returning home. The property is on the 4th floor so we had to lug our bags up the stairs (there is an elevator but not always functioning). The included breakfast wasn't clearly laid out so we didn't know if it was food we could eat or another guest's purchased food. There was cereal (couldn't find milk), yogurt?, coffee, tea and bread/rolls. The room came with a fan in lieu of air conditioning and also a heater. A little tv, which we didn't use and dresser, hangers and side table. All of whic were very modern and unqiue. There were 3 beautiful newly renovated bathrooms with two rainfall showers which were appreciated as there were 4-6 other rooms. But while we were there we didn't see anyone else which was cool as it felt we had the entire unit to ourselve. There is a really nice kitchen, dining and communal area but I think in this hostel people mainly stay in their private rooms. We got this place as it was so close to the airport, only 5-minute drive or 15-minute metro ride.

This hostel is cute, comfortable, and super close to the airport, which was great for an early flight. Since we knew that it looked like an apartment building and that check in closed at midnight, we had no trouble finding it or checking in. Everything, from the room to the breakfast to the wifi, was great, except that our room was off the kitchen, where check-in took place, so it was a little annoying to both hear people checking in all evening and to feel constrained about leaving the room to get a snack or go to the bathroom or hang out in the living room, b/c there was usually someone sitting at the table to handle check-in.

Super nice host and place, cheap clean parking breakfast, great for one night, or more.
