“Listing the property as a family resort is quite misleading. I gather most people in the area may be somewhat local and know to bring everything themselves (decent bedding/pillows, coffee and filters, shampoo/conditioner, body wash). We however traveled to meet family from out of state thinking these basic items would be provided, but they were not. It also seemed the property was lakefront, but there is no access to the lake whatsoever. Not even from surrounding streets, the lake is completely blocked off with fences and gates. Bugs are everywhere in the units even though I could see them spraying chemicals everywhere during our stay. This is a fisherman’s mobile home park and should be advertised as such. We were also greeted by the grumpiest of all men which was the cherry on top. Would not stay again and wish other reviews would have been a little more honest. Way overpriced for what you get.”

“These units are simple, and comfortable. There were no frills but it was safe and had plenty of stuff to do right on the property. Fishing piers were very near by and the onsite pool and fire pits filled up our downtime. I would recommend this to families and couples as a simple retreat that is close to everything!”

“Stayed for a few days. Didn't really know what to expect. Place seemed safe. Shower sucked-- shower head never really hit your body right, the mat for the floor was terrible. Ended up using a bunch of towels to not slip in bathroom. They replenished you with a whole lot of towels so that was good. Microwave and stove tops only-- sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. We stayed in cabin 6 and the A/C just wasn't cutting it. It would run all through the day but only really got cold for an hour in the morning. The separate rooms were nice and beds were comfy. The appeal here is the pool. To note the pool is covered for majority of the day by a few large trees which means you swim in the shade. Although sme chairs and parts of the deck were in need of some repairs the kids were able to enjoy the water. You share it with whomever else is there which could be a good or bad thing depending on how many people are staying. You can see the water from the back of the property, but it is just a marina. You cannot touch the lake. There is another small park down past the cottages that you can get onto a beach and touch water. There are not many places to hang beach clothes to dry other than outside over a picnic table. There is one hook in bathroom and a shower bar. Location was good. Few minutes from the state park and Kelley's Island Ferry. A 20ish minute drive to Put-In-Bays ferry. Again it was just okay. ”

“If you are looking for a cute home-away-from-home I would recommend Little Ted’s Cottages. As a family of 5 this was perfect. Everyone had their own bed and it was cozy. The pool was very nice and there are plenty of free beaches, fishing spots, sites to see, and shopping within a few minutes drive. ”
