Breakfast was very good if large.
It was an ok place to stay but expensive. I asked if they sold water in the morning as had forgotten to take any, £9.60 for 4 small bottles. A meal for 3 of us was £120 and the food was certainly not 4 star, more average. Waiting staff were really friendly. I asked if we could check out later as we had to wait all day for my son to finish scuba diving nearby - £10 for an extra hour (but unavailable) and could not extend beyond that.
We have visited Longlands a few times but in the last few years mainly for a meal or just for drinks. This time we stayed 1 night and it was very good. Very comfortable bed and a good standard bathroom with very good shower. Breakfast was good too - I'd recommend the Breakfast Hash - a dish I'd not come across before and which was very tasty. Really nice friendly staff too.
